Dessert Server by Joshusa McGarvey

In his exhibition Assembly of the Forgotten, artist Joshua McGarvey reimagines the afterlives of ordinary objects through playful assemblage. By entwining a tarnished serving blade with amethyst, wire, and fragments of cast-off materials, McGarvey highlights both the humor and intimacy embedded in the everyday, transforming remnants of use into poetic forms.
