In her printed photographs, Emily Jane Kuntz reconfigures fragments of digital refuse into layered, dreamlike images. What might otherwise be forgotten—an abandoned file, a cropped-out detail, an error—becomes central, reanimated through color, texture, and scale. The resulting works operate like visual ghosts: playful, haunting, and alive with unexpected intimacy.

Emily Jane Kuntz is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans photography, collage, and digital media. Working with what she calls “digital trash”—fragments of unfinished projects, discarded files, and found imagery—she reassembles overlooked materials into compositions that blur humor and melancholy.
